Crystal Colors

Our Crystal Colors are derived from a unique patented process which converts the all natural liquid color into a highly concentrated crystalline form. This makes our natural colours highly soluble and stable across food processing temperature ranges and light exposure. The resulting crystals have a stable shelf life of up to 5 years at ambient room temperatures, use 1/5th the storage space compared to liquid colors, and do not require refrigeration during shipping or storage.

  • The butterfly pea plant, a flowering vine native to Southeast Asia, also known as Blue Matcha, gets its vibrant blue color from compounds similar to those found in blueberries. It has very good heat and light stability and is a rich Royal Blue in low pH, changing to vibrant Purple in high pH.
